FAQ

What is workplace management software?

It is a solution that allows managing and analyzing an organization’s workspaces and resources, such as workstations, meeting rooms, parking spaces, vehicles, or inventory items, from a single platform.

What types of spaces and resources can be managed?

FAMA allows the management and booking of any resource that can be used in an organization, including: workstations, meeting rooms, parking spaces, vehicles, any other inventory items that the organization needs to make available to its employees/users.

Management can be alphanumeric and graphical.

How does workstation and room booking work?

Bookings are made through FAMA Resource Booking, available via app and web portal. Users can check availability, make bookings, and have daily traceability of occupancies, even without a corporate mobile device.

Is it necessary to install an application to book spaces?

Not necessarily. In addition to the app, FAMA offers a web portal accessible from any device, as well as access via a link on mobile devices without the need for installation.

Can a room be booked directly from Outlook?

Yes. FAMA integrates with Microsoft Office 365 and has an Outlook add-in that allows booking a free room when scheduling a meeting, without switching applications and automatically generating the booking in the system.

Does it allow defining rules and criteria for space booking?

Yes. FAMA allows setting criteria such as:

  • -Additional permissions by profile.
  • -Advance booking periods.
  • -Bookable days.
  • -Rotation and usage rules.

This makes it easier to adapt workplace management to each organization’s internal policies.

How is user access to the platform managed?

FAMA integrates with corporate Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, including Azure, SAMLv2, and ADFS, allowing users to access without repeated authentication.

Can spaces be managed using floor plans?

Yes. FAMA allows booking and visualization of spaces using floor plans, with bidirectional integration of DWG and BIM plans via the Forge API, showing current bookings directly on the plan.

What kind of information does it provide for analyzing space usage?

The platform offers reporting and dashboards with indicators on occupancies, usage, requesters, and costs, facilitating space performance analysis and workplace optimization.

Does it help with the economic management of workspaces?

Yes. FAMA allows for occupancy calculations and provides ratios such as €/m² or €/workstation, offering information for the control and economic management of spaces.
